With their new released CD '050' the Ploctones are nominated for the Edison award.
The other nominees are: Kyteman and Bennink/Borstlap/Glerum.
In the first week of May Efraim was with 4 Sure in Cayenne to perform at the prestiges
'Festival de Musiques Actuelles Caribeo Amazoniennes' named 'Kaleidoson'
The program also included bands as 'Faya Dub' and 'Hadouk Trio'
The concert of 4 Sure was broadcasted by national televison.

The new cd of the Ploctones '050' is released in Holland by Challenge.
CD PRESENTATION was on 14th of March 2009 at Paradiso, Amsterdam.
A country-wide tour is planed November/December 2009.

In November 2008 Efraim Trujillo was in India with the 'Ploctones'.
They had to end their cd release tour early because of the terrorist atacks.
